Can you please provide more detail, such as your Unreal Engine and Cesium for Unreal version (found in the lower-right corner of the Cesium panel in the Editor) and the specific Mac you’re running on. A screenshot and/or video might be helpful as well. I haven’t noticed such artifacts on my own Mac, for what it’s worth.
Hi Kevin the issue are the grey fine lines. I’m working with a Mac 21.5 / 2017. Graphiccard: Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640 1536 MB. Unreal 5.3 and the Cesium for Unreal from October 15, 2024.
We have an issue for that and other rendering problems on Intel Macs here:
Unfortunately we don’t know what causes it; from our perspective it seems like a UE bug. Given that this hardware is near end-of-life, and probably also a bit underpowered for the job, we’re unlikely to invest significant effort into solving it. Macs with NVidia, AMD, or Apple Silicon GPUs do not have these artifacts.
