Sandcastle .KMZ export problems

1. A concise explanation of the problem you’re experiencing.

I export .kmz through this sandcastle exsample. (https://cesiumjs.org/Cesium/Build/Apps/Sandcastle/?src=Export%20KML.html&label=All)

I am tying to convert it to DGN, DWG or import it to google earth. Nothing works no object.

Is there anyone who could give a tip on this workflow? I just need .dwg o .dxf in certain WCS.

Thank you in advance

Are you able to get a KMZ file downloaded using that example? If so, are you able to open it in Google Earth?

What software are you using to convert it to to DGN?

Yes, it has data in it but cannot be viewed over in google earth, and it prompted some error about textures. I converted it with couple of online converters, gets empty drawings.

Are you downloading the satellite example or the model example? Or is it your own custom example? If it’s your own custom example, can you share the code for it?

thank you for being online. Yes, I downloaded template - bus model. Have you tried importing it before? does it work for you?

Yes, I am able to simply drag and drop it into Google Earth Pro to see it, although one of the wheels seems to be white instead of black:

If this doesn’t work for you, can you share the text or a screenshot of the error you’re seeing? Are you using a different version of Google Earth?

Haven’t tried dragging and dropping, but thank for shortcut. Have you tried exporting it in another format from google earth?

Do you mean exporting from Google Earth so you can visualize it in CesiumJS? If so, you should be able to export KML/KMZ that you can render in CesiumJS.

Or if you have 3D models, you can export as KML/COLLADA which you could then upload to cesium.com/ion to tile and display on the globe.

No, I want to find a way to export georeferenced objects from cesium to .dwg without building expensive api from scratch. And I though kmz would help me half way

oh, I am sorry. I didn’t pay attention to the code on Sandcastle, it just downloads .dae file.
