Shade flickers in globe tileset

Hi,

I have experimented with creating a globe of my own from low-res geodata in Remoscape and loaded it as 3D Tiles into Cesium for Unreal. I’m having problems with severe flickering in the shadow part of the earth, with some weird shading issues, see the screenshot below. It’s not that apparent in a still image but you can see some strange varying shadows there.

To reduce the exaggerated light from CesiumSunSky, I have set its Intensity to 0.1 lux.

What can be the cause of this flickering? I have hidden the Cesium World Terrain, so there’s no z-fighting or anything going on. I recall another type of flickering that was fixed by enabling Rendering → Advanced → Render CustomDepth Pass on the tileset, but it doesn’t help here.

Any suggestions are welcome!
