360 image capture

What is the best way to capture a 360 panoramic image with cesium in unreal. When I use the Unreal Panoramic capture plugin the world terrain does not render. I must be missing something simple. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Doug

Having the same issue… Has anyone come up with a work around?

Hi @J_Bog , some questions to get us on the same page…

  • What version of Unreal are you using?
  • What version of Cesium for Unreal?
  • Are you seeing anything of note in the console logs?

Thanks!

I am using 5.2 with version 2.0 of Cesium. Nothing out of the ordinary in the console logs. Renders are missing Cesium geospatial image data… renders just show the standard sky and cloud textures.

Thanks @jbo023 ,

I haven’t tried using the Panoramic capture plugin personally, but it sounds like, since your world isn’t rendering any tiles at all, our tile loading isn’t using whatever camera is being used for the panoramic image.

Complete guess, but you might be able to use Cesium’s Camera Manager, and multiple cameras to approximate the area needed for your panoramic capture…
