I have a large georeferenced obj file. its size is 15GB.

I was going to upload it to Cesium ion.

But I saw “server internal error”.

Now I want to check if this is because my obj file is invalid.

How can I check or view my large obj file?

If my file is valid, what does internal error means and what shall I do?

I am using paid Ion account.

Can you tell me what the asset ID is so I can look into this? If it is an invalid file, we’ve been working on improving error reporting there so you know that this is the case. For now, if it’s an internal error, I would assume it’s a bug on our end.

Generally, my go to with validating any OBJ file has been to try and open it in Blender. Although that might be difficult if it’s a single file that large. Was this generated from another program?
