Google 3D Tiles Built-In Render Pipeline VR Single Pass Shader? One Eye Rendering?

Looks like VR single pass instancing is not working for built in render pipeline? As only one eye renders. I have to enable multi-pass which cuts our frame rate in half. I found this forum post on the issue. Has anyone figured out a fix for this or has written a shader for built in render pipeline that can do single pass instancing?
