Sandcastle.cesium.com does not load

Hi all,

I’m new to Cesium and was trying to learn it through sandcastle.cesium.com. I’ve tried opening sandcastle.cesium.com on two different machines - however on one machine, the site never fully renders. I get the following screen:

While on other it seems to run perfectly.

Both machines use Edge 135.0.3179.85.

Does anyone have a guess why it might not work on one of the machines?

Hey @laurynasin, sorry you’re running into this issue.

I’m not able to reproduce this issue in any of the browsers I’ve tried, including the same version of Edge.

That error message is very strange to me too. Dojo is the UI library that Sandcastle currently uses and it hasn’t been changed in a very long time. My best guess is that you might have an extension or network issue that’s causing the page to load incorrectly or have some scripts blocked. It seems it’s not able to initialize but I have no idea why that would be the case.

Since it’s working on one of your machines can you share the differences between them? Any hardware/system level differences? Are they on the same network? Any extensions only enabled on one? (Maybe try running in Guest mode without any extensions?)

Hopefully we can get to the bottom of this!

So I managed to get around this issue.
Seems that the issue occurs after I use my machine for few hours… once I restart it - I can open sandcastle… With this workaround - I think I can use the sandcastle sufficiently :slight_smile:

@laurynasin Glad you found a “workable” solution. That’s a very weird reason for it to stop working, I’m not sure what would even cause that. It definitely sounds less than ideal, I’m sorry we couldn’t help more.

If you figure out any more context or reason please feel free to update us! We’ll do what we can to try and help figure it out, especially if it’s only happening on Sandcastle and not other sites.
