Is it possible to stream Google 3D Tiles to Fortnite?
And, Is that possible with Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN)?

I did not know if it was possible.
Therefore, I released an experimental island modeled on Google 3D map tiles, photogrammetric data, and townhouse model data to be placed in Fortnite.

To my knowledge, UEFN doesn’t support C++ plugins like Cesium for Unreal. But I haven’t really looked into this at all, so I could be mistaken.

Your island looks very cool, but I do have to mention: if you did this by scraping the Google Photorealistic 3D Tiles and importing them, then this is unfortunately a violation of Google’s terms of use.

Hi Kevin.

I am looking forward to being able to use Cesium and Google Photorealistic 3D Tiles with Verse, the Fortnite programming language.

Thanks for pointing out your Google Terms of Service.

In the meantime, I have removed Google Photorealistic 3D Tiles from this content so as not to violate Google’s terms and conditions.

For the record, the response to my question to the Google staff is at the following link, which I also read and understood the violation in this case.

It’s a shame that this kind of use seems to be impossible when so many people are excited about the possibilities of Google Photorealistic 3D Tiles.

I understand the interest in being able to do this, though I also understand it may be complicated for Google to simply allow it. They likely have contractual obligations with their data providers, for instance. In any case, I suggest reaching out to Google with that feedback.
