When selecting google photorealistic 3d tiles in Unreal Engine version 4.27.2, the tiles are not loaded.

What happened?

I am working on the AirSim project, so I am using version 4.27.2 and running the Unreal Engine, but when I select Google Photorealistic 3D Tiles, I get this error.
LogHttp: Warning: 00000233F977EB00: request failed, libcurl error: 0 (No error)
LogCesium: Error: [2025-03-04 17:32:59.293] [error] [TilesetContentManager.cpp:803] An unexpected error occurs when loading tile: Connection failed.
Is that because it’s an older version?

Environment

Cesium for Unreal version: 4.27.2
Unreal Engine Version: 4.27.0
Operating System: windows11

Reproduction steps

  1. The result is the same even if I create new projects.

Hi @Hw_Whw, welcome to the community!

This post appears to be copied from this Github issue, which we’ve already answered. But just to close the loop, I’ll copy the answer that Kevin left:

Yes, your plugin version is too old. Google Photorealistic 3D Tiles loaded from Cesium ion requires Cesium for Unreal v1.31.1+. The latest version available for UE 4.27 is v1.24.0.
